How the leaderboard works
How to get on the board
Play Key Catcher or Type Arena in our free typing games, finish a round, then come back here and press Post your score. Enter a display name, your best words per minute, your accuracy, and which game you played. Your score is added to the rankings straight away.
How ranks are decided
The two games are scored differently, so they have separate boards — use the tabs above to switch. Type Arena ranks by words per minute (WPM), with your accuracy shown beside it. Key Catcher ranks by points earned catching falling keys. In both, the top three take the podium keycaps.
What the badges mean
Type Arena
- Speed Demon — 95 WPM or faster
- Quick — 75 WPM or faster
- Sharpshooter — 98% accuracy or better
- Precise — 95% accuracy or better
- On Fire — 90+ WPM with 97%+ accuracy
Key Catcher
- Quick Hands — 300 points or more
- Sharp Shooter — 500 points or more
- On Fire — 700 points or more
How to climb
Take the free lessons to build clean finger placement, run timed practice tests to measure your real speed, then play the games to sharpen reaction time. Come back, beat your best, and post again.
